“If men were being cut this way the cultural arguments would fade away”
Hardly. The fact that the genitals of male infants and boys ARE being cut in all cultures that cut girls is what stagnates discussion about ending genital mutilation of girls. It is the false reverence that religion (culture) demands that perpetuates many forms of child abuse, genital cutting (male and female) being the most heinous.
It is time to end ALL “genital cutting” sexual mutilation of ALL children.
